On my list today:
- Sip a cup of hot coffee with just a titch of cream, savoring the morning and embracing the new day ahead waking more and more with each delectable swallow.
- Make sure the garbage gets taken out because the trucks come early keeping Scout calm because he freaks out when he hears the wheels of the garbage cans on the pavement outside whether its ours or our neighbors I mean he really freaks out running back and forth looking out the windows, yelping, barking, and crying because he's not out there herding those garbage cans because he's not allowed because if you think he freaks out inside the house you should see him chase those cans outside the house. Yikes.
- Take a shower find something to wear that sort of fits I'm not super skinny yet but there are some clothes that just won't work anymore and I'm supposed to be excited to buy some "interim" jeans this weekend but the thought of having to eventually replace a lot (most?) of my clothes kinda bothers me which is weird because most people would really look forward to that part but I am a little daunted by the possibilty but we're not there yet so don't worry about it now.
- E-mail Kody and Kelly to work out the plan for tomorrow night we've got a wedding reception at 6 for one of Beccah's friends wow so young but wow so good for Tina to be getting married, but then we're free to see our good, good friends it doesn't really matter what we do just so we get to see one another that will be the most important thing.
- Get to work in time to do the final preparations for the May/June submissions judging before my one-on-one with Jennifer in which we'll talk about my big rocks and my little rocks and the progress that's being made which are great things to discuss especially since I've made some good progress towards all my rocks this week.
- Lead the submissions judging meeting choosing the content for that issue such hard decisions to make these days.
- Eat yet another lunch of cottage cheese and fruit but it's better than another day of edamame though I like edamame it's kinda boring maybe I'll jazz up my lunch with a handful of Wheat Thins? sometimes you just need some salty crunch
- Fill out the May/June editorial spreadsheet with the projects that will be going into that issue including project name, designer, and e-mail address kinda tedious but it's got to be done and it's exciting to see for the first time who actually gets in because our judging is blind and we don't know whose projects are on the table when we look at them.
- Create acceptances for all the designers who got their projects in so they can go out first-thing tomorrow morning.
- Label and catalogue the projects for Stamp It! Cards so we can hand them off to writers next week.
- If there's time, work on the editorial plan for a new blog I'll be launching on the Paper Crafts website in the next week or so...stay tuned, it's sure to be moxie fab...hint, hint.
- Come home and eat a salad or some such other meager meal to try and get the momentum going again I've had three meals in restaurants the last three days and no matter what healthy choices you make it's still tough to keep the weight going down but I'm hanging in there better than I ever have before so just be patient. Patience.
- Watch the Vice Presidential debate no matter what your party this one's going to be a good one.
- Clear off the top two layers of junk on my craft table in preparation for making cards on Saturday for World Card Making Day I just can't wait I can't believe how excited I am to spend some time with myself in that old familiar Cards by Cath space making cards.
- Post this blog to say hello to you, my blogfriend, so glad you stopped by today (although in realtime that should be Number 3 on the list because the only thing I've actually done so far is drink a delicious cup of coffee and keep Scout from becoming a maniac) but I can't actually post it until the whole thing's written so to put it at Number 3 seems silly because then there wouldn't be a blog to post. A bit of a time warp but there it is.
Have a wonderful Thursday, blogfriend! What's on your list today?
Buy lots of interim clothes, Cath! It will make you feel good. I got some the other day and I felt like a hundred bucks.
You are looking good and trying so hard. Keep it up! I'm rooting for you!

Just had to drop in and say I am really enjoying your blog.
Also, my mom just went through the journey of losing 100+ pounds and she says the interim clothes were like an accelerator because they made her look good in the interim...and when she felt good it helped her stay motivated...
Hope you have a productive day!

A Moxie Fab list, I would love to see all of those submissions, although I would have a terrible time selecting. The talent in the pool right now is so inspiring!
Good stuff with the weight loss, go girl!!!

Wow, I thought I had a busy day! You've got to be the queen of organization to keep all of that straight. LOL. So happy for you that you are seeing progress with your clothes. Isn't that a great feeling? I agree...definitely get some interim clothes. It will make you feel even better. Enjoy your card making time tomorrow. I know I will!
