Just picked these gems up at Tarjet.
I've picked some posies from a veritable garden of sweet pea-jamas, wouldn't you say?
I must be going on a trip.
Sho 'nough, I is.
Tomorrow morning I board a plane bound for the Big Apple. Yippee skippee I am one lucky creative editor. I'll be attending the National Stationery Show to do some serious trend watching--ranking pretty much the highest on the favorites scale of things I have, make that get, to do for my job at Paper Crafts magazine.
I'll be seeing all kinds of paper, gift wrap, cards, and stationery products up-close-and-personal including cards like this from Meri Meri:
And gems like these from Hello Lucky:
And cutie pie tags like this from Boatman Geller:
I'm extremely excited for the debut of my good friend Nicole LaRue's new lines. Go Rue!
I'm going to stay in an apartment with my moxie fab friends Jennafer, Megan, Tara, Wendy, and April. It's going to be one super sized slumber party. Thus, the new jammie-pies.
I'm going to see The Altar Boyz and I'm going to eat dinner at dipnyc .
I'm going to spend some time with my friends Kezia and Paul both at-the-show and not-at-the-show.
I'm hoping to have breakfast with Anabelle, and I'm really sad that Jen and I will be like ships that pass in the night, because I really miss her.
And I'm so excited to be reunited with Miss Tracy and hear of her recent adventures past and future!
I'm going to walk the garment district with my CK Media peeps, go to Kate's Paperie, and hopefully Purlsoho, depending on how much time we have.
And while all that will be stimulating, inspiring, crazy fun, wonderfully energizing, and I will laugh so hard my stomach will hurt for days afterwords, perhaps the best part is when all is said and done on Tuesday evening, I will put myself on a plane, not bound for Utah, but for New Hampshire.
For that is where two sweet nieces and a charming nephew live in a beautiful home made warm and secure by my much-missed brother and my best-friend-sister-in-law. That is where I will stay until it's time to come home.
So farewell for now, dear blogfriends. I'll post if I can, but there's no guarantees. I'm not feeling the need for a vacation from blogland just yet, but it wouldn't be right for it to get in the way of good times. No, it just wouldn't be right.
[but we'll see...]
Oh, those are cute jams!
And color me green, that sounds like a FAB work related get away!!!
Enjoy!

I am SO JEALOUS of your fun trip. I was supposed to be there with Craft Critique, but this move across country has proved to be harder than expected and we are delayed! Ugh!
Nothing is better than the smell of paper. You're a lucky Girl!
Have a Moxie Fab time!
Loves, Emilie
