...days until the Congraduation party! I'm busy, busy, busy with the preparations, and even though it's going to be a very small gathering, it's a Big Day, so I want it to be special.
Commencement is at 9 AM. Nicole's college graduation, the one that really counts, is not until 6:45 PM. So, we're going to split the difference and celebrate in the interim, at 1:00. Since every graduate in town will be making reservations at restaurants all over the city, we're going to have a Party on the Porch here at home.
Since the guest of honor is a vegetarian, we're going with all-vegetarian fare. And I don't know why, but we love tea party food at my house, so we're going to run with that--little bite-sized finger foods that provide a lot of variety without making you feel too stuffed.
Ideas? Recipe links? E-mail me! I've taken Thursday off from work so I can prepare, so if you have some suggestions, I'm wide open until it's time to go shopping Thursday morning!
Woot!
Cath - I have no idea on veg food, but just wanted to say a HUGE congrats to your daughter! It's so wonderful that you are so involved too! I loved the marching band photos! I play the sax (but haven't done so for a few years) and I miss it! Perhaps I should get back into it....
anyway - have a great time, and congrats again to your daughter :)

Always fresh fruit!
A little dip made from yogurt and some honey, yum!
What about a cheese plate? Apple slices and cheese is something everyone can enjoy.
Congrats, and have a fun day shopping!
